Hubert Falco is a French politician who served as the Mayor of Toulon from 2001 to 2023. Throughout his career, he held various high-level positions, including Senator of the Var, President of the Toulon Provence Méditerranée metropolitan area, and several ministerial roles under the presidencies of Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy. Originally a member of the UDF and later the UMP and Les Républicains, he eventually supported Emmanuel Macron. In 2023, he was convicted of misappropriation of public funds, a ruling that led to his removal from office and a period of ineligibility.
