Hye-kyung Jung is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. Elected as a proportional representative in 2024, she initially ran under the Democratic Alliance before returning to her original party, the Progressive Party. Her legislative work has focused on environmental and labor issues, including service on the Environment and Labor Committee and the Climate, Energy, and Environment Committee. Prior to her parliamentary career, she was an active organizer in labor and civic movements, notably serving as a political director for the Korean School Irregular Workers Union and as a leader in campaigns against the discharge of radioactive water from Japan.
