Yeji Kim is a South Korean politician and professional pianist who currently serves as a member of the 22nd National Assembly. A visually impaired individual, she has been a prominent advocate for disability rights and accessibility, notably gaining attention for being the first lawmaker to be accompanied by a guide dog in the National Assembly chamber. Before entering politics, she built a career as a musician, serving as an artistic director and member of various ensembles. Since her initial election in 2020, she has focused on policy areas including welfare, culture, and the protection of vulnerable populations within the People Power Party.
