Ida Adjoa Asiedu

Ida Adjoa Asiedu is a Ghanaian politician and businesswoman currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Ayensuano constituency in the Eastern Region. A member of the New Patriotic Party, she made history as the first female representative for the constituency since its inception. She secured her seat in the 2024 Ghanaian general election, defeating the incumbent candidate. Prior to her parliamentary career, Asiedu was active in the private sector and previously contested the party primaries in 2020.
