Idris bin Ahmad is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bagan Serai since November 2022. A prominent member and Vice President of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), he previously served as the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Religious Affairs from 2021 to 2022. His legislative career also includes a tenure as a Senator from 2020 to 2022 and as the Member of Parliament for Bukit Gantang between 2013 and 2018. He is recognized for his long-standing involvement in various political coalitions, including Perikatan Nasional.
