Steven Sim Chee Keong is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development since December 2025. A member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he has represented the Bukit Mertajam constituency in the Dewan Rakyat since 2013. Previously, he served as the Minister of Human Resources from 2023 to 2025 and held various deputy ministerial roles in finance and youth and sports. Beyond his parliamentary duties, he is the State Chairman of DAP Penang and a former board member of the Penang Institute, a prominent public policy think tank. He is also an author who has written extensively on social democracy and Malaysian socio-political issues.
