Kiyoshi Igarashi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. A graduate of Bond University, he previously worked as a secretary for several Diet members before serving five terms in the Tochigi Prefectural Assembly, where he held the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman. First elected to the national Diet in 2021, he has since been re-elected and currently serves as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Environment in the second Ishiba Cabinet. His political career is characterized by his long-standing involvement in local governance and his focus on environmental and regional policy issues.
