Yukinori Nemoto is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, currently in his sixth term. Born in Sunagawa, Hokkaido, he graduated from Hitotsubashi University and worked at Recruit before entering politics. He served two terms in the Toyohashi City Council before being elected to the national Diet in 2012. Throughout his career, he has held positions including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office, and has served as State Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Politically, he is known for his conservative stances, supporting constitutional revision, the maintenance of the Self-Defense Forces, and the reactivation of nuclear power plants under new safety standards.
