Ignacio Achurra

Ignacio Achurra is a Chilean lawyer, actor, and politician who serves as a member of the Chilean Constitutional Convention. Born in Santiago, he studied theatre at the University of Chile and earned a master's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile before establishing an extensive career as a theatre actor, playwright, and academic. He later entered public life, serving as president of the actors' union SIDARTE and subsequently winning election to the Constitutional Convention representing the 14th district under the Apruebo Dignidad coalition.
