Il-young Jung is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Yeonsu-gu B district in Incheon. A career bureaucrat, he passed the 23rd Civil Service Examination in 1979 and spent over three decades in public service, holding key positions in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and serving as the president of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority and the Incheon International Airport Corporation. First elected to the National Assembly in 2020, he has focused his legislative work on finance, industry, and trade, and was re-elected in 2024.
