Soichiro Imaeda is a Japanese politician and physician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Aichi 14th district. First elected in 2012 as the youngest member of the Diet at the time, he has since secured six consecutive terms. Throughout his career, he has held several government positions, including State Minister of Digital Affairs, State Minister of Cabinet Office, and State Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. A graduate of Nagoya University School of Medicine, Imaeda previously worked as a physician in Tokyo and Aichi. He is known for his policy focus on medical and social security reform, as well as his advocacy for the promotion of drone technology and the development of 'flying cars.'
