Ina Sjerps

Ina Sjerps is a Dutch civil servant and politician who has served as the Mayor of Harlingen since May 31, 2021. She holds degrees in political science and Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to her mayoral appointment, she held various administrative and leadership roles, including serving as municipal secretary for the municipalities of De Ronde Venen, Apeldoorn, and Rotterdam, as well as working as a strategic advisor at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Sjerps is non-partisan and maintains an extensive background in public administration and international affairs.
