Inger Støjberg is a Danish politician and the founder of the Denmark Democrats party. She previously served as a long-time member of the Venstre party and held several ministerial positions, including Minister for Immigration, Integration and Housing from 2015 to 2019. Known for her strict stance on immigration policy, she was convicted in 2021 for an illegal order to separate asylum-seeking couples, which led to her temporary removal from the Folketing. She returned to parliament following the 2022 general election as the leader of her newly formed party.
