Ingvar Smedlund

Ingvar Smedlund is a Swedish politician who served as the Chairman of the Municipal Executive Committee (kommunstyrelsens ordförande) for Enköping Municipality from 2018 until 2021. A member of the Moderate Party, he held various local political roles over a decade, including serving as the chairman of the school board and as a municipal councilor in opposition. Prior to his full-time political career, he worked in the private sector, including experience as a store manager. He stepped down from his municipal duties in March 2021 to return to the private labor market.
