Ioan Vulpescu

Ioan Vulpescu is a Romanian politician who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2012. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), he previously held the position of Minister of Culture in the Fourth Ponta Cabinet from 2014 to 2015 and again in 2017. Before his parliamentary career, he worked as an expert at the Presidential Administration and served as an adviser to former President Ion Iliescu. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Bucharest.
