Ion Babici is a Moldovan politician and current Member of the Parliament of Moldova, representing the Party of Action and Solidarity. Born in Schineni, he holds a background as an electrician and jurist. Before entering national politics, he served as a regional coordinator and director for the CONTACT NGO in Soroca and worked with the DACIA Youth Resource Center. In 2009, he was awarded the Civic Merit Medal for his contributions to society. He was elected to Parliament in 2021 after serving as the president of the PAS territorial organization in Soroca.
