Ionel Gheorghe

Ionel Gheorghe is a Romanian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, representing Dolj County. Elected in the 2024 parliamentary elections as a candidate for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), he assumed his mandate on December 21, 2024. In his parliamentary capacity, he serves as the vice-chair of the Committee for Economic Policy, Reform, and Privatization. Additionally, he is an active member of several parliamentary friendship groups, including those for Chile, Venezuela, Poland, and Azerbaijan.
