Murad Mohammad

Mohammad Murad is a Romanian politician and prominent businessman of Lebanese origin, currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for Constanța County. After moving to Romania in 1982 to study medicine, he worked as a neurologist before transitioning into a successful career as a tourism entrepreneur, notably founding the Phoenicia hotel chain. Elected in 2024 as a representative of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), he chairs the Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism. His legislative focus includes promoting local products, protecting domestic enterprises, and advocating for economic reforms such as employee profit-sharing.
