Iqra Khalid

Iqra Khalid is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mississauga—Erin Mills since 2015. Born in Pakistan and raised in Canada, she holds a degree in criminology and professional writing from York University and a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on human rights, anti-racism initiatives, and justice reform, notably sponsoring motions to address systemic discrimination and human trafficking. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on the Status of Women and the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates.
