Irene Garrido Valenzuela is a Spanish politician and economist who served as a member of the Congress of Deputies for Pontevedra during the 10th, 11th, and 12th legislatures. An academic by background, she held a professorship at the University of Vigo and served as the first female president of the Official Credit Institute (ICO) from 2014 to 2015. She later served as the Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support within the Ministry of Economy until 2018.
