Irfan Sabir is a Canadian lawyer and politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the district of Calgary-Bhullar-McCall. Born in Rawalakot, Pakistan, he immigrated to Canada and earned degrees in social work and law from the University of Calgary. Before entering politics, he worked in social services and specialized in Aboriginal law. Sabir previously served as the Minister of Community and Social Services from 2015 to 2019 and currently holds roles as the Official Opposition critic for Justice and Public Safety and Deputy House Leader.
