Irving Yoel Rodríguez Torres is the Secretary of Agriculture of Puerto Rico, confirmed unanimously by the Senate of Puerto Rico in January 2026 under Governor Jenniffer González Colón. An agronomist with over 17 years of experience in the agricultural and environmental sectors, he previously served as Subsecretary of Agriculture, Executive Director of the Land Authority, Agricultural Marketing Director at ADEA, and Agricultural Agent with the UPR Mayagüez Extension Service. He holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a master's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universidad Ana G. Méndez.
