Iryna Friz is a Ukrainian politician and a People's Deputy of Ukraine, currently serving her second mandate in the Verkhovna Rada. Previously, she served as the Minister of Ukraine for Veterans Affairs from 2018 to 2019 and held various roles in the administration of President Petro Poroshenko, including as his press secretary. Friz is known for her active work on national security, defense, and integration with NATO, having led the Ukrainian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Her legislative focus includes the development of Special Operations Forces and the implementation of gender equality measures within the military.
