Isabelle Assih is a French politician who has served as the Mayor of Quimper since 2020 and as the President of the Quimper Bretagne Occidentale intercommunal authority. A member of the Socialist Party, she previously worked as a school teacher and school psychologist. In 2020, she became the first woman to be elected Mayor of Quimper, running on a platform focused on social solidarity, ecology, and gender equality. She was re-elected to her mayoral post in 2026 and was appointed a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour in 2025.
