Isko Moreno

Isko Moreno is a Filipino politician, actor, and entrepreneur currently serving as the 29th Mayor of Manila since 2025. Born into poverty in Tondo, Manila, he rose to fame as a matinee idol before entering politics in 1998 as a city councilor. Throughout his career, he has served as Vice Mayor of Manila, Undersecretary of Social Welfare, and previously as the 27th Mayor from 2019 to 2022. Known for his hands-on leadership and streetwise public image, he has focused on urban renewal, infrastructure development, and the restoration of historical sites in the capital city.
