Mamintal Adiong Jr.

Mamintal Adiong Jr. is a Filipino civil engineer and politician currently serving as the Governor of Lanao del Sur, a position he has held for multiple terms since 2007. Born into a prominent political family, he began his career in local government as an appointed board member in 1996 before rising to provincial leadership. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on regional administration and development, navigating complex local politics and surviving multiple security threats, including a 2023 ambush. He previously worked in the private sector as a construction executive and served as a provincial engineer.
