Fredenil Castro

Fredenil Hernaez Castro is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of Capiz since 2022. A lawyer by profession, he previously served multiple terms as the Representative for the 2nd district of Capiz in the House of Representatives, where he held leadership roles including House Deputy Speaker and Majority Floor Leader. Throughout his legislative career, he was involved in high-profile policy debates, including the sponsorship of the Anti-Political Dynasty Act and legislation regarding capital punishment and the age of criminal responsibility. In 2024, he founded the local political party One Capiz.
