Israel Nogueda Otero was a Mexican politician and economist who served as the Municipal President of Acapulco from 1969 to 1971 and as the Governor of Guerrero from 1971 to 1975. A member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, he assumed the governorship following the death of his predecessor. His tenure was marked by significant challenges, including a guerrilla insurgency within the state, which eventually led to his removal from office by the federal Congress in 1975. He later served in internal party roles before his death in 2012.
