István Simicskó is a Hungarian politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 1998. A member of the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP), he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Defence from 2015 to 2018. Throughout his career, he has focused on national security and defense, serving as Chairman of the National Security Committee and later as a vice-chairman of the parliament's National Defense and Law Enforcement Committee. He is also an academic and a practitioner of Wing Tsun martial arts.
