Ivan Adamec

Ivan Adamec is a Czech politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. A long-time member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), he previously served as the mayor of Trutnov for over two decades, from 1998 to 2021, and as a member of the Senate from 2002 to 2008. Throughout his career, he has held various regional and national roles, including chairing the Chamber's Economic Committee. Adamec is known for his advocacy on transportation issues, including proposals to increase speed limits on Czech motorways.
