Irena Němcová is a Czech politician, economist, and educator who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic since October 2025. A member of the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party, she also serves as a municipal representative in Hradec Králové. In the Chamber of Deputies, she holds the position of vice-chair of the Committee on the Environment. Her political career has been marked by her election to the national parliament in 2025, though she faced controversy in late 2025 regarding allegations of plagiarism in her 2008 university diploma thesis.
