Ivan Ševčík is a Slovak politician, former police general, and Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Born in Bojnice in 1963, he built a career in law enforcement, serving in the Police Force of the Slovak Republic and as Director General of the Inspection Service Section at the Ministry of the Interior, before being appointed a general in 2015. He was elected to parliament in the 2023 elections under the Slovak National Party and later assumed the role of chairman of the parliamentary committee on agriculture and environmental protection.
