Ivan Štefunko is a Slovak politician and entrepreneur who currently serves as a Member of the National Council of Slovakia. Born in Poprad, he spent much of his childhood in Algeria and later studied European studies at Sciences Po. A co-founder of the Progressive Slovakia party, he served as its chairman from 2018 to 2019. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for progressive social solutions and has frequently criticized the policies of established political figures in Slovakia.
