Ivete da Silveira

Ivete da Silveira is a Brazilian teacher and politician who has been serving as a Senator for the state of Santa Catarina since 2022. Affiliated with the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB), she succeeded Jorginho Mello following his election as governor of the state. She is also widely known as the widow of former Santa Catarina governor and senator Luiz Henrique da Silveira, having previously served twice as the first lady of the state.
