Ivonne Ortega Pacheco

Ivonne Ortega Pacheco is a Mexican politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in Dzemul, Yucatán, she began her political career as the municipal president of her hometown in 1998. She has held various legislative and executive roles, including serving as a local deputy, a federal deputy, a senator, and as the first elected female governor of Yucatán from 2007 to 2012. After a long tenure with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), she joined the Citizens' Movement in 2020 and has since been re-elected to the Chamber of Deputies.
