Živorad Milosavljević

Živorad Milosavljević is a Serbian politician who has served as the Mayor of Sopot since 1989, making him the longest-serving mayor in Serbia. A graduate of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, he previously worked as a judge for misdemeanor offenses and as the secretary of the Sopot municipal assembly. Throughout his long career, he has represented several political organizations, including the League of Communists of Serbia, the Socialist Party of Serbia, and his own independent movement, before joining the Serbian Progressive Party in 2016. He also served as a member of the National Assembly of Serbia from 1999 to 2001 and has been a long-time member of the City Assembly of Belgrade.
