Ján Horecký is a Slovak teacher and politician currently serving as a member of the National Council of Slovakia. Before entering national politics, he had a long career in education, serving as a school principal and as the chairman of the Union of Catholic Schools in Slovakia. In 2022, he was appointed as the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport, where he was recognized for his conservative values and expertise in school management. He joined the Christian Democratic Movement in 2023 to pursue his parliamentary career.
