Jānis Vucāns

Jānis Vucāns is a Latvian politician and mathematician who has served as a member of the Saeima, the parliament of Latvia, since 2011. Representing the Union of Greens and Farmers, he has been a deputy in the 11th, 12th, and 13th convocations of the parliament. In addition to his legislative duties, Dr. Vucāns served as the President of the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference from 2015 to 2016. He is a graduate of the University of Latvia and continues to be an active figure in Latvian national politics.
