
Jörg Lutz

Jörg Lutz is a German jurist and independent politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Lörrach since 2014. Before his current role, he was the mayor of Grenzach-Wyhlen from 1999 to 2014 and worked as a social administrator for the Lörrach district. Lutz studied law at the University of Freiburg and previously served as a legal advisor. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various regional administrative and supervisory boards, including the Lörrach district council and the Trinational Eurodistrict Basel. In 2009, he was awarded the Theodor Heuss Medal for his commitment to citizen dialogue.
