Jürgen Krogmann is a German politician currently serving as the Mayor of Oldenburg, a position he has held since 2014. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he previously served as a member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony from 2008 to 2014. Before entering full-time politics, Krogmann worked as a radio reporter and moderator for the NDR and held various press and planning roles for the city of Oldenburg. In 2024, he also assumed the role of President of the Lower Saxony Association of Towns and Municipalities.
