Jacek Sutryk is a Polish politician and sociologist currently serving as the Mayor of Wrocław. Born in 1978, he holds a degree in sociology from the University of Wrocław and previously worked in social services, including as the director of the Social Affairs Department for the city. First elected mayor in 2018 and re-elected in 2024, he has also served as the chairman of the Association of Polish Cities. In late 2025, he faced legal proceedings regarding allegations of irregularities related to his academic credentials.
