Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the electoral district of Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville. First elected in 2019, she has previously served as the Associate Minister of Status of Women and as the Parliamentary Secretary for Ukrainian Refugee Settlement. During her tenure, she introduced the Protection of Students with Life-threatening Allergies Act, which mandates the availability of epinephrine autoinjectors in schools. She is of Ukrainian descent and has been a vocal advocate for the preservation of Ukrainian cultural heritage in Canada. Recently, her legislative record has faced scrutiny regarding her support for controversial bills involving labor relations and gender-affirming care.
