Ted Hsu

Ted Hsu is a Canadian politician and physicist who has served as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Kingston and the Islands since 2022. Previously, he served as a federal Member of Parliament for the same riding from 2011 to 2015, where he was recognized for his work as a science and technology critic. Before his political career, Hsu worked as a researcher and trader in international capital markets and as an executive director for the non-profit organization SWITCH. He holds a PhD in physics from Princeton University and is known for his focus on environmental policy, economic development, and housing issues.
