Jaco Geurts is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Bunschoten since May 2025. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he previously held a long tenure as a member of the House of Representatives from 2012 to 2023, where he focused on agriculture, nature, and spatial planning. Before his parliamentary career, he worked in mechanical engineering and pig farming, and served as a municipal councilor in Barneveld. Geurts has also held several acting mayoral positions, including in Maasdriel and Culemborg, and is a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
