Jacob Jensen

Jacob Jensen is a Danish politician who has served as a member of the Folketing since his initial election in 2005. Representing the Venstre party, he has been reelected in every general election since his debut. In December 2022, he was appointed as the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries in the Frederiksen II Cabinet. Jensen is notably recognized for his commitment to sustainable food systems, having launched the Danish Action Plan for Plant-Based Foods in 2023 to promote research and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the agricultural sector.
