Jacquie Petrusma

Jacquie Petrusma is an Australian politician serving as the 36th Speaker of the Tasmanian House of Assembly since August 2025. A member of the Liberal Party, she has represented the electorate of Franklin in the Tasmanian House of Assembly across multiple terms, beginning in 2010. Throughout her career, she has held various ministerial portfolios, including Human Services, Women, Sport and Recreation, and Health. Before entering politics, she worked as a registered nurse. She is known for her long-standing service in the Tasmanian government and her advocacy for community and disability services.
