Jae-kang Lee is a South Korean politician and political scientist currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Uijeongbu-si Eul. A member of the Democratic Party of Korea, he previously served as the Vice Governor for Peace of Gyeonggi Province under Governor Lee Jae-myung. Throughout his career, he has held various roles in academia and public service, including as a standing auditor for the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation and as a lecturer in political science. He has been a consistent advocate for regional development and urban regeneration, having run for office multiple times in Busan before his successful election in Gyeonggi Province in 2024.
