Jae-kwan Lee is a South Korean politician and former career civil servant currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Cheonan-si Eul. After passing the 32nd Public Administration Examination in 1989, he held various high-level administrative positions, including serving as the administrative vice-mayor of Sejong Special Self-Governing City and Daejeon Metropolitan City, where he also acted as the acting mayor. Since entering politics, he has been affiliated with the Democratic Party of Korea, serving in roles such as floor spokesperson and member of various parliamentary committees including the Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs and Startups Committee. He is recognized for his extensive background in regional administration and public policy.
