Hoon-gi Lee is a South Korean politician and former journalist currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Namdong-gu Eul in Incheon. Before entering politics, he had a long career in media, working as a reporter for the Incheon Ilbo and iTV, and later serving as a policy director at OBS Gyeongin TV. He also held positions at the Incheon Urban Corporation and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Lee joined the Democratic Party of Korea in 2024 and was elected to the National Assembly in the same year, where he has focused on science, technology, and broadcasting policy.
