Jai Prakash, also known as Jai Prakash Rawat, is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Hardoi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has been elected to the Lok Sabha five times and previously served as a member of the Rajya Sabha. Born in 1958 in Unnao, he holds a Bachelor of Arts and an LLB degree from Lucknow University. Throughout his extensive political career, he has maintained a strong presence in Uttar Pradesh politics, successfully retaining his parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections.
